Reflection I am learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose. I found it tricky to connect to my life because my brothers and sisters don't do these kind of things.

Tapa Cloth Art

Reflection
I was learning about the significance of tapa cloth. I made my own tapa by using patterns and designs. I used used a shell and flowers for my design. My pattern was a third brown dye, a third black vivid and a third brown paper. I enjoyed drawing the flowers for my tapa. Next time I could be more careful with planning my art.

Persuasive Writing

Smoking Should Stop

My Reflection: I was learning to write, plan and present a persuasive speech. My success criteria were: - I have an introduction, conclusion, and three paragraphs each giving a reason to support my main argument - each of my paragraphs are at least three sentences long - I have researched and included facts to back up my argument. I used persuasive language. - I speak loudly and clearly to my audience - my speech is between 2 and 3 minutes long. I think I achieved my success criteria because I did all the things that the success criteria told me to do. Next time I write or present a speech I will need to work on

I am learning to express time on analogue clocks. I think I still need to practice on this activity because I don't really know about time.

 I was learning to use strategies to add more detail to my writing. I found it easy because I found more adjectives to make my work more interesting. I wasn't that sure about taste because taste doesn't really make sense to me.

I was learning to answer a range of comprehension questions. I found Cindy Limpics hard because It had lots of questions and the questions were hard.
